Chicago Cubs fans: What do you think about the Tribune Company's choice for the new owner?

The Tribune Company has selected the Ricketts family to become the next owner of the Chicago Cubs. And it sounds like that Tom Ricketts will be the primly be the owner of the Chicago Cubs. And yes, I know that it is not a done deal yet, the sale has to be approved of by the MLB owners. And it sounds like they will pay $900 million to purchase the Chicago Cubs, and this is a team that I wouldn't even pay 10 cents to own, and of course that wouldn't be enough to own the Chicago Cubs.

I think it should have been that Mark Cuban guy. He would not tolerate a loser much more than Steinbrenner would. I know nothing about this Rickets fellow. If I owned the Cubs they probably wouldn't win because I don't think any player deserves these monstrous salaries and you do have to pay big money to get great players. I would use the Cubs more like a ministry outreach than a business, so MLB would always be furious with me.
